The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting to fill one (1) vacancy for Food Services Worker for the Outdoor Education Program in the Student Services and Programs Division.
The Food Services Worker will prepare and serve food items to students and/or school staff, as well as maintaining food service facilities in safe and sanitary conditions.

org/Home/DistrictJobPosting/1754778 Located in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, the Cuyamaca Outdoor School serves more than 11,000 students each year as they attend day and residential programs.
The Food Services Worker will also inventory food and supplies, perform catering functions for various events at the Outdoor School, and stocks food, condiments and supplies for the purpose of maintaining adequate quantities and security of items.

Requirements / Qualifications This position requires a current Food Handler's certification card, which must be maintained as valid to be eligible for employment.
The position also requires knowledge of methods and procedures for preparing food in large quantities; knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices; as well as basic math calculations and measurements.
